Birth Doula

Birth brings together the mind, body, and spirit, and I love engaging with all three aspect in this transformational rite of passage. I will support and empower you on your journey with education, compassionate presence, spiritual support, and hands-on care. I will show up as a grounded, kind, and nurturing member of your birth team—someone who honors your unique path and the deep wisdom of your body. When a partner(s) is involved, I support them in their desired role by offering practical skills, encouragement, and tools for connection. I bring years of experience in embodiment practices, bodywork, somatic counseling, and herbal and nutritional knowledge to the spaces I support.

My practice is rooted in inclusivity, respect, and the belief that all birthing people deserve to feel safe, seen, empowered, and celebrated. I identify as a queer practitioner and am deeply committed to serving and affirming queer, trans, and non-traditional families. I am currently focusing on working with home birth clients.

At the core of my work is an understanding that this incredible journey of bringing life into the world can be deeply healing and transformational when it is held with compassion, reverence, and loving kindness.

Rose is incredibly intuitive, thoughtful and caring. Having her at my birth was the best decision I’ve ever made. She noticed when I needed support without me having to ask. She offered skillful nurturing touch to help my body manage the pain of contractions. She was great at managing logistics, communicating with others in the room on my behalf, and making me feel really cared for and safe the entire time. She really cheered me on and offered strength and encouragement when I needed it most. I’m so grateful for Rose’s support during my birth and would highly recommend her to other birthing people!

Doula Packages

All packages include the following care:

  • A Complimentary Initial Call during which we will discuss your questions and vision for birth. I can answer any questions you might have for me about the kind of support I offer as a doula. This is a good time for us to see if we might be a good fit for working together prior to signing a contract.

  • Prenatal Visits where we will discuss things to do during pregnancy to support your health and comfort, techniques to support your comfort and health during birth, your personal birth plan, the role of your birth partner during labor and after, postpartum preparation, and any other lingering questions you might have. This is an important time for us to develop our connection, for you to prepare for your birth, and where I can learn how I can best support you during birth.

  • Labor Support from week 38 till your baby is born I am on-call and available at anytime for text, phone, and email support. I will join you either at your home or the hospital once labor has begun.

  • Postpartum Home Visits at which I can support you in this new time of having a baby to care by helping you find comfort in your body, lactation guidance, or refer to other professionals such as chiropractor and sleep or lactation specialists.
